Personally, Meryl gifted us with an amazing portrait of our inn’s namesake, a 200 year old chestnut oak tree which hangs over one of our fireplaces to be enjoyed by everyone who visits. It is very special to us and a beautiful example of her diverse talent.
Most recently, she painted a portrait of our two yellow labs, Cody and Gunner, who are no longer with us. This piece takes your breath away as it almost brings them back to life! When you look at it, you feel like you can reach out and touch them. She captured their beauty, personality and every detail of their handsome coats.
